My name is Lauren, I am a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and owner of AYA Mental Health. I offer psychiatric care including thorough assessments, diagnosis, and medication management services to those ages six and older. My goal with this practice is to start from the beginning, listen, and learn from you and/or your child so that we can work together to meet the goals that we set for treatment.
I am available to see patients in-person at my office in beautiful downtown Maysville, KY. I am also available via telehealth to patients living in Ohio and Kentucky. I offer a free fifteen-minute phone consultation to see if we are a good fit and determine what appointment style works best for you.
What to Expect
Assessment
During your initial appointment you can expect a compassionate, supportive, and judgment-free environment. Intake appointments are typically one hour long. I will take the time to understand your unique concerns, history, and goals through an in-depth conversation about your mental health, current symptoms and stressors, medical background, and lifestyle. This visit will include discussing past treatments and any challenges you’re facing. My goal is to meet you where you are and provide the guidance and care you need to feel your best.
Treatment
Together, we will develop a personalized treatment plan that may include medication management, therapy, and lifestyle modifications. Following the initial assessment, as we continue to work together, we will meet for regular follow-up appointments to assess progress toward goals and effectiveness of current treatment plan. Once we are closer to our goals, we can move to medication management follow-up appointments which are often fifteen to thirty minute appointments, depending on your needs. I offer flexible scheduling and an online portal, so that I am available to you should you have questions or needs between appointments.
Community
Community is at the heart of why I chose a career in mental health. It is my intention to create a safe space where everyone feels welcome and inspired to be themselves. As I grow it is my plan to use the space that I’m working to create to host community events and meetings for the public in order to foster connections within the community and help bridge gaps in care for those in need.
Pricing and Insurance
I believe everyone deserves access to quality mental health care, which is why I’m committed to transparent and fair pricing. I accept private pay, commercial insurance, Medicaid, and OH Medicare in order to provide flexible options for care. For specific rates and coverage details, please contact me so that we can discuss your options.

All information you share during your sessions, including personal details, health history, and treatment plans, will be kept confidential and will not be shared without your explicit consent, except in circumstances where required by law.
I take every precaution to safeguard your data, including secure storage of your medical records and communication. Any communication through email, phone calls, or virtual appointments will be conducted in a manner that ensures your privacy.
